Born on May 4th 1961 Jay was always known as the baby of the group. Her ambition was always to become a model but unfortunately she missed this by about a quater of an inch! She was in Jersey when she received a phone call from Jill Shirley about an audition she had lined up for her. She gave it all she had in front of Mike and Nichola Martin. As they say, the rest is history. Jay's departure from the group was a shock for all the fans as the group was just about recovering from the trauma of their coach crash. Since leaving Bucks Fizz, Jay has written alot of material and has recorded some songs under various other names.
